Hampton Inn & Suites Newark Airport Elizabeth

Thank you, Mr Patrick for coordinating the stay for our group at The Hampton Inn. We also appreciated having nice clean rooms and a friendly staff at the front. Thanks also to Aria for being so accommodating with making food for everyone; even though she had a long day. When it was time for her to be officially closed, she still took care of the order for a hungry guest! Her kindness was really appreciated.

I was looking for a place to stay for an early morning flight, and found this Hampton at a great price, and that it offered a week of parking for cheaper than the airport, and a shuttle. So a decent deal. The room was clean, the breakfast bar was standard, and the gym was well equipped, though the Peloton there was not correctly setup and had Delta peddles instead of the normal hotel version peddles

I am a Hilton Honors member and I feel as though Im not treated as such. I read all the reviews and understand people's comments about the shuttle. I got picked up by the shuttle a bit after 4:30am no big deal. Im not mad that I got dropped off at P3 instead of at the individual terminal where I was flying out of. If this is a new thing im fine with it. However someone should have told me before getting on the shuttle. Come on Hampton Inn step it up with the shuttle the rating justifies just ok. The rooms and Hotel get 4 stars. The Hotel was clean and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I took one star off for the room for the slow draining shower which I had to stand in my own soap from rinsing off. The front desk gets 3 stars for just ok service. I would only stay here for one night again for a flight out of Newark. Outside of that I won't be staying here for long term.

We stayed the night before our flight on the 15th. Rooms were cleaned nicely hallway smelled of vomit on the fifth floor. The front desk girl hostess not her strong suit. Rude not friendly looked like she hated her job. Seen her yell across the lobby for a very tired lady that couldn't get into her room came all the way downstairs and she just yelled i just changed your room need to check your messages. WOW! The gentleman that was there for evening shift so much more of what we get at Hilton friendly went above and beyond when we had a small issue. Room was clean. TV remote was definitely going out. But overall nice and relaxed before heading home.

Being employed in hospitality for some yrs has given me a perspective that few acknowledge. All I can say is if your busy at least acknowledge other guests until you can address their question or needs. Ignoring them isn't giving off hospitable vibes.

First time in Elizabeth New Jersey, so I didn't know what to expect. We stayed here before and after a cruise. The hotel was clean and they were doing some renovations to rooms. The area was still clean. My only issues were; the elevators were extremely slow and the breakfast buffet was simply OK. A bit dated but it served the purpose. I would go back.

I'm basically here to talk about how honest the Hampton Inn at Newark is. Somebody checking out had left their wallet in their room. The cleaning staff ran downstairs to catch them so they didn't leave without it. Another guest had lost their expensive jewelry and was able to return later and retrieve it. You don't always get to witness acts of kindness and responsibility like this. Speaks volumes of this establishment

I rarely would write a review but i felt compelled to come on here and let everyone know about the experience me and my family had this past weekend at this hotel. We were snowed in over the weekend and the staff was absolutely accommodating. The room was cozy and warm. I cant complain about the room it was up to par. The manager was working the front desk & the bar. He worked hard to make sure eveyone was happy. He even did the cooking too. The lady at the desk on Sunday was there from the morning until late at night & she looked exhausted. Since we were in the lobby most of Sunday I could see how accomadting they were. Even the shuttle driver was helping at the desk. This hotel has employees who actually care. You could see how geuine and unbothered they were they were with all that was going on. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR HARDWORK DURING THE STORM.
